Jack Calver is a queer actor & producer originally from Adelaide, now based in Sydney and soon relocating to London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
After graduating from the Flinders Drama Centre in 2022 — where he trained under Wayne Harrison AM (former Artistic Director of STC) — Jack relocated to Sydney. Highlights include understudying for The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (STC), devising and performing Unfair Verona (Glassroom/Sydney Dance Company) and performing in Hot Tub (Belvoir St. Theatre), The Wind in the Willows (Australian Shakespeare Company), The Queen’s City of the South (Qtopia), and Posh (Old Fitz), which he also assistant directed.
On screen, he appears in the feature Jimpa (dir. Sophie Hyde), the AACTA Pitch: Focus short With Love, Lottie (dir. Lily Drummond), web series Situationship (dir. Roberto Nascimento) and short films Compulsion and sex ed with dread, both of which he wrote and are currently touring film festivals.
Jack is the founder of Glassroom Company, a queer-led indie production platform he launched at age 17. Since debuting with Clanstow (which he wrote and directed) at Adelaide Fringe, Glassroom has produced theatre, short films, industry content, and reviews — building a strong youth and queer following across Australia.
Jack also holds an Irish/EU passport, with the ability to work freely across Europe. In 2025, the company expands into London, continuing its mission to celebrate identity, legacy, and liberation through storytelling.
